Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a prominent financial services partner located in Bloomington needing to add to the accounting team!

Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming payments via ACH, check, wire, and credit card.
- Accurately apply payments to customer accounts and invoices.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly AR reconciliations, including customer accounts and bank deposits.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short-pays, chargebacks, and unapplied cash.
- Maintain accurate aging reports and support collections with account details as needed.
- Assist with month-end close tasks related to AR.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues.
- Support ad hoc AR projects and process improvements.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of accounts receivable or general accounting experience.
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
